Getting your work onto social media is easy — making it popular is harder. This session guides you through the main platforms and shows how to create content that gets noticed. Learn how to foster meaningful interactions and share your research widely, from posts to live streams.

By the end of the workshop, you will be able to:

  • Raise your profile using social media
  • Plan effective content to save time
  • Use social media for research and networking
  • Create shareable content to grow your audience
  • Tailor content for X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and more
  • Consider accessibility, safety, and ethics
