Managing Your Time: Thurs 5 Oct 23, 10:00-12:00

This workshop is a condensed program designed to improve time management and organisation skills. Participants learn practical techniques such as creating to-do lists, scheduling effectively, prioritising tasks, and overcoming procrastination. The workshop also addresses work-related stress and provides strategies to support a healthy work-life balance. By the end of the workshop, participants gain the tools and knowledge to optimise productivity through better time management.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Develop effective time management techniques and strategies for organising tasks and priorities.
  • Identify and overcome common time stealers and procrastination tendencies.
  • Plan for improved work-life balance and manage priorities through enhanced time management skills.

Presenter biography:

Dr Katy R Mahoney RGSF, VRDF. Researcher Coaching Founder, Director – Rodetal Ltd

Katy owns her own coaching and training business and, as a CDP Standards Office accredited executive coach, blends the skills she has honed over two decades in university settings to run the Researcher Coaching programme training and coaching researchers across the world. Since completing her PhD in Human Geography, Katy has managed a career development programme training academics at 22 UK institutions for Vitae; coached and trained researchers online and face to face across seven continents and developed a specialism supporting researchers to increase their productivity and confidence to achieve their research and career goals.

This workshop is the first of two on Thursday 5th October 2023, 10:00-12:00.  The second workshop will focus on High Intensity Productivity in the afternoon 13:00-15:00.  You may choose to attend either or both of these workshops.
