Postdoc Led Training

Share Your Postdoc Expertise With The C-DICE Network

Are you passionate about sharing your knowledge with fellow researchers? Ready to step into the spotlight and lead workshops or webinars in your specialised field? Elevate your research engagement and impact with our Postdoc Led Training Program – where you can design and deliver your own training opportunity.

What is the Postdoc Led Training Programme?

The C-DICE Postdoc Led Training programme supports postdoctoral researchers to develop training and provides a platform, through the C-DICE network, to deliver it to a national audience of fellow researchers.

Our diverse training programme provides access to, and a greater understanding of postdoctoral research across a variety of sectors linked to infrastructure, cities and energy and the decarbonisation agenda. Postdoc led training is an important and integral part of our training offer.

The Postdoc Led Training programme is uniquely designed to provide researchers with personalised support and training, helping to build crucial skills in communicating research ideas. Postdocs often work at the cutting-edge and your training session may focus on highly technical and specialised aspects of your research, your career pathway or wider skills. The session you ultimately deliver could comprise a short webinar, a workshop, half-day interactive session, a lightning talk or a series of sessions along a theme. You may wish to work with us to co-design a training session alone or in collaboration with colleagues in the UK or internationally.

You bring the technical expertise, we bring a wealth of experience in design and delivery of high quality training and the support to enable you to contribute to our programme. Don’t miss this opportunity to share your insights, spark discussions, and foster collaboration among peers eager to learn from you!

Testimonials

This opportunity has provided enrichment in many ways: promotion of system dynamics to the postdoctoral community, creating impact of my own research and development of my teaching skills and materials.

I have built on this experience when co-hosting a similar webinar for the wider transport professional community for the Association of European Transport, Transport and Mobility Forum.

Dr Gillian Harrison, Principal Systems Thinking Analyst – Net Zero Systems Transport Lead, Department for Transport

We learnt to design technical and specialised aspects of our research into a clear, concise, and interactive format. C-DICE provided expert insights on allocating time, interactive mini-sessions, designing surveys and marketing… a fantastic experience to learn new skills in engaging with a wider audience.
