Booking (registration is now closed)

The conference is free to attend for postdoctoral researchers and late-stage PhD researchers at C-DICE partner institutions. If you are not at a C-DICE partner organisation, you can still attend for a small fee.

If you are an academic at a C-DICE partner university and would like to attend the conference, you would be welcome. Registration guidance is available below.

Registration for researchers at partner universities and institutions

To be eligible for free registration for the Net-Zero Futures Conference you have to be:

  • A postdoctoral researcher or late-stage PhD researcher at a C-DICE partner university. The list of C-DICE partner universities is available here OR
  • A researcher funded by the Faraday Institution or the Alan Turing Institute.

Registration is available via Inkpath, the platform C-DICE is using for researchers to book onto events and training sessions, apply for placements and secondments, and create a pathway for personalised professional development.

Registration is currently available both for the full-day conference, and for the workshops and facilities tours. More details can be found on the Programme pages.

Not on Inkpath?

If you don’t have an Inkpath account, you can complete the expression of interest form here. Please note that you will need to create an Inkpath account at a later stage in order to choose your preferred workshops or to submit a poster. Guidance on how to create an Inkpath account is available here.

If you would like to attend the conference but your caring responsibilities are a barrier to participation or if you do not have the funds to attend this in-person event, you can apply for the C-DICE Caring Support Fund or the C-DICE Travel Grant Fund.

Registration for researchers who are not at partner universities and institutions

If you are not a researcher at a C-DICE partner university or you are not funded by the Faraday Institution or the Alan Turing Institute, there is a fee of £95. Payment can be made via purchase order or credit card; please follow the steps below to register for the conference.

By credit card:

Step 1: Pay the conference fee of £95 via the Loughborough University Online Store. If you would like to also attend the pre-conference dinner on 19 September, you can pay £125 for ‘Standard rate: Non-partner institution and Pre-conference dinner’ ticket type.

By purchase order:

Step 1: Email the C-DICE team at Cdice-enquiries@lboro.ac.uk to request a quote. C-DICE will provide an invoice on receipt of a purchase order number from your institution.

Registration for academics at C-DICE partner universities
