Water Masterclasses 2023

Water Masterclasses 2023

The Cranfield Water masterclass series has been developed with a focus on the current challenges facing the water sector and is informed by our latest world-class research. The classes provide insight for water sector professionals and others who wish to increase their knowledge of topical issues. Delegates will improve their understanding of both how the specific topic is of significance for the water sector and the science and research which underpins solutions.

C-DICE will fully subsidise five places for postdoctoral researchers and late-stage PhDs for these masterclasses (usual cost £185 per class).  THERE IS ONE SUBSIDISED PLACE STILL AVAILABLE FOR NEXT THURSDAY 20TH JULY.

Each masterclass is delivered by an academic leader in the relevant field; an expert who is closely engaged with leading edge knowledge delivery.

Topics for 2023 include:

  • Alternative energy vectors for the water sector (20th July 2023 – rescheduled date)

Masterclasses run online from 09:00-12:30.

To take up the opportunity for one of the  FULLY SUBSIDISED places, please register via the link below.

If you book this training you commit to attending.  If you do not attend your University could be charged for the cost of the training.

Caring Support Fund

If you are accepted to join the training but your caring responsibilities could present a barrier to participation, you can apply for the Caring Support Fund to meet additional costs. The purpose of the C-DICE Caring Support Fund is to help postdoctoral researchers with caring responsibilities to offset the additional costs of caring incurred by taking part in a C-DICE activity. More details can be found here.

Travel Fund

C-DICE has established a fund to help postdoctoral researchers attend face-to-face C-DICE events where they may otherwise not have the funds to do so. C-DICE will contribute up to £150 towards the cost of travel and/or an overnight stay. Attendance at this training is eligible for a C-DICE travel grant. More details can be found here.
