We’re delighted to be able to offer doctoral and post-doctoral researchers from across the Energy Research Accelerator partnership up to £2,500 of funding to support delivery of their own energy / net zero related event. If you are in one of the ERA partnership institutions and would like to apply, don’t miss the guidance webinar on 8 December.

We know how much time and effort it takes to produce excellent research and see it published, so we send our warmest congratulations to members of the C-DICE community on their recent open-access publications:

C-DICE Ambassador Dr Deblina Majumder’s research is published by the Royal Society of Chemistry in Nanoscale Advances, with academics from the UK, Saudi Arabia and India.

C-DICE Fellow Dr Gary Nicholas’s research is published by Wiley in Wind Energy, co authored with Gary’s former colleague at the University of Sheffield, Professor Rob Dwyer Joyce.

Your training records are an invaluable resource for evidencing your skills in personal development reviews, fellowship applications, and more. The C-DICE Inkpath portal will close on 31 December 2025, so don’t forget to download your records.

If you already have experience of using AI in your research work, there’s still time to sign up for Dr Naomi Tyrell’s online workshop on 8 December: Using AI to enhance your research processes.

A new IGNITE+ report reveals where Equity / Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) progress is real, where gaps persist, and what must change for an inclusive energy future. Join Professor Mustafa F Özbilgin (Brunel University London) for the official report launch on 19 January and help shape sector-wide reform.
