Inkpath – our researcher development platform

C-DICE is using Inkpath as the mechanism for researchers to register for events, apply for placements and secondments, and book training. Inkpath is unique, because as a researcher it will also track your activities, allow space for reflection, and enable you to create a pathway for your own professional development and plan for your next career steps.

How to register to C-DICE in Inkpath – New Inkpath Users 

  1. Visit webapp.inkpath.co.uk or download, install & open the Inkpath mobile app 
  1. Select the “Sign Up” tab and create an account by selecting C-DICE from the list of organisations 
  1. Enter your email address (use your ac.uk email address if you have one) > accept the terms of use and privacy policy > press “Sign Up” 
  1. You will be emailed a link to set a password for your Inkpath account. Once set, return to the Login page 
  1. Log in using your email address and password. C-DICE will ask you to provide some basic details about yourself on the “About You” page. Once you’re done > press Save. 

 How to register to C-DICE in Inkpath – Existing Inkpath Users 

  1. Visit webapp.inkpath.co.uk or download, install & open the Inkpath mobile app 
  1. Select the “Sign Up” tab and create an account by selecting C-DICE from the list of organisations 
  1. Enter the email address that you are already registered to Inkpath with > accept the terms of use and privacy policy > press “Sign Up” 
  1. Return to the Login page and log in using your existing email address and password credentials. C-DICE will ask you to provide some basic details about yourself on the “About You” page. Once you’re done > press Save. 
  1. Switch between your Inkpath profiles using the switcher by pressing Account > Switch Organisation. Use this to switch between your C-DICE profile and profiles registered at other organisations in Inkpath. Each profile will contain the content relevant to that organisation/programme e.g. your C-DICE profile will allow you to see and engage with C-DICE content. 

Important note for existing users that use SSO to log in to Inkpath: You should follow the above steps to register a profile at C-DICE and can then continue to use your organisation’s SSO credentials to log in. The switcher tool (explained above) can then be used to switch between your various Inkpath profiles at each organisation you are registered to.

C-DICE aims to provide equal access to opportunities and create an inclusive environment in which all postdoctoral researchers feel valued, respected, and engaged. To monitor our progress towards achieving these goals, we would appreciate it if you could answer the questionnaire upon your registration with Inkpath. The information will be anonymised in line with the GDPR rules and used for statistical analysis but you will also have the option not to answer.
