C-DICE Annual Conference: Net Zero Futures

The C-DICE annual conference is a unique opportunity for postdoctoral researchers and late-stage PhD researchers to hear from expert speakers, gain skills, share issues to accelerate careers.

This year’s conference will take place at the Holywell Park Conference Centre, Loughborough University, on Tuesday 20 September, during Postdoc Appreciation Week. It will enable networking with researchers from other universities, academics and industry representatives.

Sponsorship opportunities

We are seeking sponsorship for the annual conference to cover the prizes for the poster submissions and enhance the pre-conference dinner experience.

Conference aims

The conference aims are to:

  • celebrate the contribution that postdoctoral researchers make to research and innovation in general and to the Net-Zero transition in particular,
  • enable participants to create career development pathways,
  • highlight the opportunities and advantages of the C-DICE programme,
  • offer participants the opportunity to learn more about the training, development and collaboration provided by ERA and UKCRIC facilities.

Support for postdoctoral researcher delegates

If you would like to attend the conference but your caring responsibilities could present a barrier to participation, you can apply for the Caring Support Fund meet additional costs. The purpose of the C-DICE Caring Support Fund is to help postdoctoral researchers with caring responsibilities to offset the additional costs of caring incurred by taking part in a C-DICE activity.

Travel fund
