Career Pathway: Bridging Skills Gaps Workshop: 25 February 2026, 13:00- 16:00
This interactive online workshop supports researchers in reflecting on their current skill sets and identifying the capabilities they will need to progress into future roles across academia, industry, and the third sector.
Using the Net Zero Skills Framework developed by C-DICE, the session will help participants think critically about how research roles are changing and what this means for career development in Net Zero and adjacent disciplines. The focus is on recognising skills gaps, understanding future skill demands, and planning practical steps to support longer-term career progression.
Participants will be guided to develop a personalised skills development roadmap that connects their current experience with the roles they may wish to pursue in the future.
