How to Design a workshop: 2 March 2026, 10:00-16:30

Hands‑on training to plan and run high‑impact workshops for net zero research: stakeholder co‑design, policy engagement, industry collaboration, and community involvement. Learn from experts and leave with a draft workshop plan, templates, and real feedback. Travel grants available.

Designing a great workshop is one of the fastest ways to turn net zero research into real‑world momentum — whether that’s shaping a project with stakeholders, co‑creating with communities, translating findings for policymakers, or partnering with industry.

This lively, hands‑on training gives you a practical toolkit to design and deliver workshops with confidence. You’ll learn how to set outcomes that matter, build an engaging flow, choose the right methods, and handle the room on the day. You’ll also practise techniques in small groups and leave with a draft plan you can use immediately.

You’ll leave with:

A clear workshop purpose, audience map, and agenda
Tried‑and‑tested facilitation methods (with templates)
Tips for engaging policy, industry, and community partners
A confidence boost to design and run your own session

Who it’s for:
